About the event
Enter this exciting health care career! The night classes are designed so you can work during the day, attend classes after dinner. Clinical Medical Assistants are key to physician offices running smoothly. They can perform various medical duties under the supervision of a physician.
They also perform critical administrative duties including updating patient medical records, filling out insurance forms, handling billing and bookkeeping, scheduling appointments, setting up hospital admissions, referrals and laboratory services.
Certification is administered through National Health Career Association - NHA.
WIOA funding is available - see your local Career Center for Financial Assistance.
